Smoked Kentucky Sidecar

Our new Kentucky Sour Mixer shines in this deliciously modern twist on a classically sweet and tart cocktail!

Distilled: Spring Cocktail Recipe: Smoked Kentucky Sidecar

Updating a classic cocktail is always a challenge we happily accept! We knew our new Pappy Van Winkle  Kentucky Sour Cocktail Mixer  would be the perfect way to bring a new, smoky twist to the retro Sidecar.

The Sidecar, a sweet and citrusy classic cocktail born in the 1920's,  can almost be seen as a precursor to one of our all time favorite cocktails, our beloved Margarita. So our  Kentucky Sour Cocktail Mixer,  bursting with the perfect balance between smoked honey and tart citrus, brings a modern twist to traditional flavors.

Our Kentucky Sour Cocktail Mixer boasts the unmistakably unique flavor of pure wildflower honey that has been slowly smoked over retired Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon Barrels, infusing the trademark notes of vanilla, oak and perfectly aged bourbon. Finished with the refreshing tartness of pure lemon juice and the perfect hint of orange peel for deliciously balanced flavor that is incredibly versatile.

A lemon sugar rim on our  Signature Keys Nick & Nora Cocktail Glass  gives the Smoked Kentucky Sidecar a preview of the exciting flavor combination it promises. This has quickly become a new favorite and is a surprising, easy, and delicious specialty craft cocktail that will delight friends and guests at any occasion or elevate your regular cocktail routine!

Serving size: 1 cocktail

This has easily become my new favorite cocktail! I can't wait to share this one!
