Think of this as the “greatest hits” of our acclaimed Barrel Fermented cigar collection.
For those new to the collection, the Pappy Van Winkle Barrel-Fermented cigars are made with a combination of the finest Kentucky, Mexican, and Indonesian tobacco and are hand-rolled in small batches at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate in Estelí, Nicaragua and are unlike anything else on the market thanks to our unique barrel fermentation process. Throughout the 12-18 month fermentation process, bundles of Kentucky fire-cured tobacco are soaked in Pappy Van Winkle bourbon barrels, imparting a unique flavor profile and aroma. Pairs well with spicier spirits such as rye.
This limited edition Sampler 4-pack features one of each of our Barrel Fermented cigar sizes including:
*Toro
*Robusto
*Churchill
*Limitada
How quickly your cigars will dry out depends on the humidity in the air. More humid climates are better for cigars. In general, you should store cigars in a humidor or airtight bag as soon as your shipment arrives. Due to inconsistent shipping climates, it is important to give your cigars a few days to rehydrate before enjoying one. If you don't have a humidor we suggest putting the cigars in a plastic food storage bag or container. For every 25 cigars stored, put a damp sponge or paper towel in the bag or container. Store the bag on a shelf or in a closet. If you don't have a humidor, we suggest purchasing one of our Boveda humidor bags or one of our 2-way humidity control packs designed to keep your cigars at the ideal humidity. They are available for purchase on our website. Please note: Our cigars arrive sealed and shrink-wrapped in cellophane. We are unable to accept returns on opened boxes.
Purchased for my husband for Father’s Day, but gave them to him early because I couldn’t hide them in his humidor without him finding them lol
Amazing cigars, great flavor , smoked one already, but will save the rest for a special occasion. Thank you Pappy
Great
We finished a round of golf in Scotland and broke out three gift boxes of Pappy Cigars. The Scots wanted to taste the cigars with their native whisky. The Americans wanted to taste the cigars with Kentucky Bourbon. We tried both. Interestingly, the Scots ordered more of that "Kentucky stuff" because the Pappy cigars tasted better with Bourbon. The cigars are flavor forward, bold, and "a tribute to the Colonies" (which is a compliment). These cigars taste wonderful with friends and improve with time; do not rush the process. At the end of the evening, the Scots voted to nominate Pappy Cigars as a contender for their Cigar Hall of Fame (who knew that Scotland had a Cigar Hall of Fame). Well Done, Pappy!
I do not smoke myself but gave them as gifts to my friends that do. They told me that they were great.
Love me some patron cigars! But all pappy cigars are my go to! Doesn’t get any better and trust me I don’t had them all! Especially the flying pigs and the limitadas. If you love smoking cigars, your missing out if you don’t try pappy!
Have not tried them yet. Waiting on my brother to retire.
