We are excited to announce our newest cigar to our collection: The Pappy Van Winkle Tradition is a slightly more traditional blend, that represents and honors our iconic Van Winkle family legacy and was created to be the perfect complement to bourbon.
This classic blend has a storied history with great significance to Drew Estate. Back in 2010, Jonathan Drew invited Willy Herrera to visit La Gran Fabrica in Nicaragua to test his blending skills with 2 days of non-stop blending. This was a tryout of sorts and if you are familiar with the brand, you know he passed with flying colors and is now the master blender at Drew Estate. Several years down the road, our father, Julian Van Winkle hand-picked one of these original blends to represent our family's famed Old Rip Van Winkle bourbon.
Pappy Van Winkle Tradition cigars are unique and delicious premium smoke created from a great collaboration between Pappy & Co. and Drew Estate. Fashioned by the best rollers in Drew Estate’s Nicaraguan factory, this small-batch cigar features an oily Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper paired with an Indonesian binder, and a blend of aged Dominican and Nicaraguan long-fillers. This exquisite recipe results in a fragrant, full-bodied smoke with heavy top-notes of chocolate, earth, and leather, seamlessly balanced with cocoa, cashews, and sweet tobacco.
The Tradition cigar is a delicate blend that balances strength, spice, taste, and aroma. If you've tried our family's bourbon, you know that we wouldn't put our names on anything but the best.
Cigars come in a lined, custom wooden box with 10 Robusto size (5 1/2 x 54) cigars. Please be advised the seal might be cut as they are randomly selected while going through customs.
RETURNS: Our cigars arrive sealed and shrink wrapped in cellophane. We are unable to accept returns on opened boxes. If the box is sealed and unopened, we will accept returns or exchanges on cigars no longer than 7 days upon receipt.
How quickly your cigars will dry out depends on the humidity in the air. More humid climates are better for cigars. In general, you should store cigars in a humidor or airtight bag within a few days of receiving your cigars. If you don't have a humidor we suggest putting the cigars
