Want to learn more about our newest cigar addition? Here is everything you need to know about our Tradition Belicoso and why its worth trying!
What makes this cigar style unique?
The Belicoso size requires a more experienced roller to make the distinct taper shape of the cap. While most Belicoso cigars are 5 x 54, ours is 5 x 50.
Why would someone opt to choose to smoke this vitola?
At 5 x 50, this is your perfect 45-60 minute smoke. The tapered cap funnels the smoke into one specific point of your tongue, while the cigar smoker can choose how concentrated that smoke is by how wide they decide to cut the cigar.
Can you tell me why this Tradition blend is so special?
This cigar blend is blended by our Master Blender, Willy Herrera and specifically chosen by Julian Van Winkle. And it honors both the traditional style of making cigars and the ongoing tradition of the Van Winkle Whiskeys.
What defines the makeup of the Belicoso Tradition?
- Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano
- Binder: Indonesian Sumatra
- Filler: Nicaraguan & Dominican
How is this cigar made?
The cigars are made using the traditional Cuban entubado style of bunching. The blend of tobacco is predominately woody and spicy, with notes of ground black pepper on a base of cinnamon and cedar.
