Long-filler, premium cigar rolled in limited quantities. Deep barrel fermentation is the process that makes this cigar vastly different from anything else on the market.
Named after Winston Churchill, who famously smoked as many as ten of these beauties a day, our version of this robust vitola is seven-inches long with a ring gauge of forty eight. And while Churchill’s smoking habits aren’t ones we’d suggest you emulate, it’s easy to understand the appeal of these flavorful, full-bodied smokes. Partnering with the talented artisans at Drew Estate in Estelí, Nicaragua, we’ve created a sophisticated, one-of-a-kind blend, using a unique barrel fermentation process. Throughout the 12-18 month fermentation period, bundles of Kentucky fire-cured tobacco are soaked in Pappy Van Winkle bourbon barrels, imparting a unique flavor profile and aroma. Cigars are then hand-rolled and ready to smoke. The blend’s strength level is considered “Medium Plus,” which means it can be enjoyed by new smokers and longtime aficionados. Round out your smoking experience and pair your Barrel-Fermented Churchill with a tumbler of rye or another similarly spicy spirit.
