These chunks are some of the best we have tried. My husband loves the aroma of these chunks right out of the bag, and the flavor they infuse into various meats he has used them to smoke. One of my favorites has been smoked salmon, with a maple syrup glaze using the Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup - sooooo good! These chunks are huge and last a long time - 5lbs and easy to cut to size if we need a smaller portion.
