LIMITED EDITION DROP | In celebration of Julian Van Winkle III's 77th birthday, we've released 77 boxes laser-engraved with his signature.
Our Tradition blend, available in three different hand-rolled vitolas, was chosen by our father, Julian Van Winkle III in collaboration with Drew Estate in Estelí, Nicaragua. The combination of an oily Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper, an Indonesian binder, and a blend of aged Dominican and Nicaraguan long-fillers makes for a full-bodied smoke with notes of chocolate, earth, and leather. Churchills, named after the British Prime Minister who famously smoked as many as ten a day, are longer and more robust than both the Toro and Robusto versions. Measuring seven-inches with a ring gauge of forty eight, we estimate the smoking time to be about as long as a round of golf. Enjoy.

Our cigars arrive sealed and shrink wrapped in cellophane. We are unable to accept returns on opened boxes.
Storage Suggestions
How quickly your cigars will dry out depends on the humidity in the air. More humid climates are better for cigars. In general, you should store cigars in a humidor or airtight bag as soon as your shipment arrives. Due to inconsistent shipping climates, it is important to give your cigars a few days to rehydrate before enjoying one. If you don't have a humidor we suggest putting the cigars in a plastic food storage bag or container. For every 25 cigars stored, put a damp sponge or paper towel in the bag or container. Store the bag on a shelf or in a closet. If you don't have a humidor, we suggest purchasing one of our Boveda humidor bags or one of our 2-way humidity control packs designed to keep your cigars at the ideal humidity. They are available for purchase on our website. Please note: Our cigars arrive sealed and shrink-wrapped in cellophane. We are unable to accept returns on opened boxes.

Well crafted and great smoke. Unfortunately my box was shipped unsecured (read not sealed with a wrapper) inside the shipping box which allowed the wood box to open and cigars to scatter with one getting broken. My shipping cost was refunded. Suggest QC work on better shipping prep.

What an excellent smoke!
What I really like about PPVW Tradition Cigars is the brand's consistency. I always know that whatever I order from them- cigars, barware, or any items is going to be of high quality, excellent, and consistent. In other words, I know what I order will be very nice.
Not a $20 cigar, disappointing in taste and draw. May just be a one off, had trouble with consistency in barrel fermentation also.

Sorry I haven’t replied sooner, with out a doubt the finest cigar I have ever experienced even with a so-so bourbon! With the chance of obtaining a bottle of your 23 year old escaping my bucket list, these cigars are a pretty close second. If you decide to produce the finest bourbon in mini bottles and in large quantities, keep me in mind. I promise it will never sit in a display case or auctioned, it must be enjoyed! Please look for another order in the near future, thanks immensely!

I brought a box of Pappy Van Winkle Tradition cigars to my in laws for the forth of July, while I am not a cigar connoisseur there where 6-7 other guys that are and have had some of the best cigars including Cubans. Not one of them had yet to try a Pappy Van Winkle cigar. When I broke them out they were all interested and said they had brought some real good cigars to share, and I said just try one of these. The response was overwhelming " Theses are the best cigars I have had" we paired them with some Blanton's and before I knew it all 10 were gone as well as 2 bottle's of Blanton's. I am pretty sure you have seen a small spike in sales since the forth as I have had pictures sent to me from a few of the guys with there new shipment of "PAPPY'S" Well Done Pappy & Co!!!!
When it comes to having a Cigar and want to pair it up with a good Bourbon, you would be hard pressed to beat the Tradition by Pappy &Co. Before a recent trip to the Western Mountains of Maine for some fly fishing I stopped at a cigar shop and asked for the very best he had. The merchant asked if I had ever tried Pappy Van Winkle cigars? No I said but I have had a drink of Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon and it was the best. I purchased some and my Friends and I sat on a deck overlooking the Western Mountains watching a sunset while sipping Blanton's and smoking a Tradition cigar. It was a match made in Heaven!!
Loved this cigar. I ordered these and they were amazing cigars. They did send me the wrong cigars originally, but the customer service was some of the best I've seen in my life. I sent an email when I received the wrong cigars and before I knew it, a very kind customer service representative helped me out and got the right cigars sent out with 2 day shipping.
