Written by our aunt Sally Van Winkle Campbell, this is the story of Pappy Van Winkle—the man and the bourbon. It’s a personal tale, originally written for family, but it’s also an inspiring retelling of the American Dream with widespread appeal for bourbon and history lovers alike.
227 pages. Hard cover. 10.5” x 9.5”
Love it
If you read my previous book review post, you would have seen that I was truly disappointed in the book Pappyland. This book, But Always Fine Bourbon, is what I was expecting from Pappyland. It is written by the granddaughter of Julian “Pappy” Van Winkle and she provides the definitive history of him, his family and how Pappy Van Winkle became the brand it is today.
thanks for your quick response and delivery of my book. Pappy & company service is almost as good as the taste of a 10year old Family Reserve
Bourbon :)
But Always Fine Bourbon - Book
Husband was very happy to add the book to the cabinet next to the 23 and the 20s
I have been wanting this book since I seen it at the Buffalo Trace distillery. We live four hours away and i regretted not picking up a copy while there. When I seen that I was able.to not only purchase the book, but also get it signed by the legendary Julian Van Winkle, it was an absolute must. The photography contained within the pages is absolutely stunning and the story of the Van Winkle family history is captivating. This is a must have if you love bourbon and gaining knowledge of where it all began.
