Meant to be savored and enjoyed slowly, our six-inch Barrel-Fermented Toro cigar—toros are also called corona gordas or ‘fat coronas’—features a robust ring gauge of fifty two, which makes for a fuller, more flavorful smoke. The sophisticated blend starts with bundles of Kentucky fire-cured tobacco that are soaked in Pappy Van Winkle bourbon barrels during a 12-18 month fermentation process before they’re combined with the finest Mexican and Indonesian tobacco and hand-rolled by the exceptional artisans at Drew Estate in Estelí, Nicaragua. The result is a one-of-a-kind cigar unlike anything else on the market—a bourbon-tinged blend that pairs well with spicier spirits such as rye. Storage Suggestions

How quickly your cigars will dry out depends on the humidity in the air. More humid climates are better for cigars. In general, you should store cigars in a humidor or airtight bag as soon as your shipment arrives. Due to inconsistent shipping climates, it is important to give your cigars a few days to rehydrate before enjoying one. If you don't have a humidor we suggest putting the cigars in a plastic food storage bag or container. For every 25 cigars stored, put a damp sponge or paper towel in the bag or container. Store the bag on a shelf or in a closet. If you don't have a humidor, we suggest purchasing one of our Boveda humidor bags or one of our 2-way humidity control packs designed to keep your cigars at the ideal humidity. They are available for purchase on our website. Please note: Our cigars arrive sealed and shrink-wrapped in cellophane. We are unable to accept returns on opened boxes.

Nice cigar - Poor wrapper job

Nice cigar with unique flavors due to the barrel fermenting. I recognize it doesn't impact the flavor, but the wrapper is very rough. And I'm not referring to the tip which appears to be the fermented wrapper. At least the box I received. It certainly did not appear like a premium cigar. I may try one more purchase to see if I received a one-off.
