This was so much bigger than I thought it would be. Plenty of room to use as a serving dish. Husband loved that it was made of actual whiskey barrel. It sits on the counter and is a great conversation piece. Would highly recommend!

I bought this stave bowl as a Christmas gift for my nephew and his wife. I hoped it was as reviewed, and when I opened the box to examine it...it was above my expectations. I was so excited for my nephew to arrive and open the box. He and his wife loved it...it will get to be the centerpiece for their dining room table. He kept taking in the sweet smell of bourbon.

This is a gift. So I will not be using. I think it is very unique.

Wonderful- perfect! Current use- holding fresh summer fruits and vegetables on kitchen island... upcoming holidays will move to fireplace mantel and fill with greenery and decor. Fun note- when I first received the stave, you would get whiffs of bourban as you passed by. Would definitely consider purchasing again as a unique and special gift!

Bought for my kitchen island for fruit and vegetables. Very nice sized and looks great! I will also use this when hosting parties for a appetizer platter. Plus, I can still smell some 15 year Pappy in the wood!

I got this for my husband as a Christmas gift and he loved it. It is both beautiful and functional. It is a wonderful conversation piece as well.

The stave is very pretty but it needs some structure underneath it in order to stabilize the tilt and wobble motion. It’s perfect if you’re playing “spin the Stave”.

I have given this as a gift twice in the past, this year my wife got one for us. It is a nice piece but functionaly it falls short. It has neither a flattened base area or any “legs” to stabilize it. If you are using it for a floral arrangement that will just sit out of reach then It is fine but if you are using it as a Charcuterie Plate (meat and cheese plate) then it will either spin like a propeller blade or rock like a teeter totter when interacting with it.
