Growing up, waffles trumped pancakes at our house, and when it came to syrup, our mom always served real-deal pure maple syrup over the sticky sweet grocery store variety. It was a beloved household staple and a natural fit when we first introduced pantry items to the Pappy & Company line. Produced by our friends at Bissell Maple Farm in Jefferson, Ohio, this extra-special maple syrup is aged 10-to-20-year-old Pappy Van Winkle bourbon barrels immediately after they’re dumped for bottling at the distillery, which lends this pure maple syrup a unique depth of flavor with rich bourbon-like notes of vanilla, caramel, butter, and oak.
Don’t limit this powerhouse syrup’s use to breakfast. It goes great in everything from salad dressings to cocktails. It's especially tasty drizzled over ice cream. See our Bourbon Lifestyle Blog for more recipe ideas.
Seventh generation farmers, the Bissell family has been making maple syrup in Northeast Ohio—just across Lake Erie from Canada—since the late 1800s, and like Pappy & Company, they believe in hand-crafted, high-quality goods. So when we decided to bottle our own pure maple syrup, we knew just who to turn to.

Saving it for gifts. However, I was disappointed that I somehow did not receive the 10% off my first order as shown on site.
Good stuff
My husband loved. Will be ordering more.
There is a reason this syrup has 246 5-star ratings, it simply is the best. I love it on the traditional Pancakes and Waffles, but put some on Ice Cream, oh my.
Have bought some for me and a couple for gifts, friends say best gift ever.
Cheers - Enjoy
Since I can’t afford a bottle of the bourbon I purchased a bottle of the syrup. Maybe he will make pancakes!
Wish I could get him a small bottle of the Pappy van Winkle bourbon for his annual Christmas bourbon taste challenge each year with his longtime friends. The even have an award statue engraved each year with winner’s name He’s won a few times by finding distilleries which have only released a few bottles and then he had a good story.
We always get a kick out of NCIS LA when a character brings out her bottle and tells her story.
WOW, wasn't going to get it but then read the reviews. Ordered mine Thursday, received it Saturday and tasted it. I made maple syrup for years in northern NJ and now in SC I buy it but, nothing and I mean nothing compares to this. My fear now is I won't be able to live without it. It really is over the top. Not my last bottle for certain. I know, get 2 at a time.!!!
