Our Pappy Van Winkle Barrel Fermented cigars have a truly unique flavor profile and are offered in a hand-crafted box of 10 cigars in three vitolas: the Robusto, short and wide for a full-flavored smoke in under an hour; the Toro, six inches long with a 52 ring gauge; and the Churchill, seven inches long with a 48 ring gauge.
The deep Barrel Fermentation process starts with hand selected bundles of Kentucky fire-cured tobacco soaked in Pappy Van Winkle bourbon barrels. The tobacco is removed 2-3 times per year, shaken out, then repacked. The total process of fermentation takes 12-18 months, leaving a truly unique flavor profile and aroma that contributes to its hickory, charcoal and overall earthier flavor.
Pappy & Company’s premium Barrel Fermented cigars, are then hand-rolled by the artisans at Drew Estate in Estelí, Nicaragua and feature a unique bourbon influenced flavor profile and aroma. Our cigars can be enjoyed by both new smokers and longtime fans. Pappy & Company pro tip: Pair it with spicier spirits such as rye.
