Long-filler, premium cigar rolled in limited quantities. Deep barrel fermentation is the process that makes this cigar vastly different from anything else on the market.
This classic blend, which was developed by Jonathan Drew and Willy Herrera of Drew Estate in Estelí, Nicaragua, was personally selected by our father Julian Van Winkle to represent our family’s famed Old Rip Van Winkle bourbons. Hand-rolled in Nicaragua, our premium Tradition collection, which includes three unique vitolas, features an oily Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper, an Indonesian binder, and a blend of aged Dominican and Nicaraguan long-fillers for a fragrant, full-bodied smoke. Top-notes of chocolate, earth, and leather are balanced by hints of raw cocoa, cashews, and sweet tobacco. Our six-inch Toros—also called corona gordas or ‘fat coronas’—are meant to be savored slowly so save this for a special occasion, even if it's just a long lazy evening at home. Bonus: The stout ring gauge of fifty two makes for a richer, more flavorful smoke.
