Our Limited Edition Field Jackets are inspired by the well-worn hunting jacket that hung in Pappy’s office closet at the original Stitzel-Weller distillery. Through a partnership with premium outdoor apparel company Tom Beckbe, we have created both The Women’s Blakeley and the Men’s Piedmont.

Each waxed jacket offers a timeless silhouette made with impeccable craftsmanship to honor Pappy's continuous pursuit of the finer things. The color, Stave Brown, is exclusive and mimics the richness of the barrels themselves. And to further specialize each piece, we have included a numbered interior label that is signed by Julian Van Winkle III.

The Piedmont is built with all of the durability and technical features that Tom Beckbe jackets are known for, with a lightweight weatherproof 6oz waxed cotton shell that is ideal for moderate climates. Set in sleeves provide flattering structure, while gusseted underarms and a bi-swing back allow for full range of motion. Two chest hand warmer pockets, large front bellow pockets with hidden additional hand warmer pockets, and a hidden Napoleon pocket provide warmth and ample storage for cellphones and other valuables. With a classic fit, tailored design, and a cotton liner inspired by Alabama red clay, this handsome and rugged jacket provides function and style.

Almost Perfect

I really love almost everything about the jacket. The color and style are fantastic and if thats all you want then this is a 5 star. But I expected the “bellow” pockets to be the buttoned pockets but those are actually flat pockets while the hidden pockets behind the buttoned pockets are what actually "bellow". This is a bit disappointing since they are described as hidden hand warmer pockets and don’t close so I don’t trust storing too much in them with their orientation. That is my only issue with the jacket though and everything else is fantastic but I was expecting to have those snap button pockets to expand and be more useful for holding things.

Fantastic Jacket

Love it!

I’ve been looking for a light weight waterproof jacket for my hard to buy for husband. When this popped up in my email I jumped on it! The color is beautiful, pockets are deep and it is comfortable (of course I tried it on!!) Signed and numbered will make it harder for him to wear but I’m sure once he puts it on, he will love it.
