Bourbon Balls were the very first product we introduced from our Pappy & Company gourmet collection, and for good reason. Not only are they a Van Winkle Family favorite, but they are an iconic part of bourbon history. Ruth Hanly Booe (of famed confectionery, Rebecca Ruth Candy) is responsible for dreaming up these delicacies in 1938 and they quickly became a Christmas tradition in the South. Fortunately for fans of these little bites of bliss, they are no longer relegated to one season.

A creamy, delicious combination of chocolate, bourbon, and pecans, Bourbon Balls are a Kentucky classic and a beloved sweet-treat tradition. Ours are handmade in partnership with The Whisk House, a Louisville-area bakery, to preserve the one-of-a-kind taste that only Pappy & Company Bourbon Balls can boast—they are made using our family's Old Rip Van Winkle 10-Year. A word to the wise? Make sure to grab a box for yourself too. We had to learn this the hard way.

Fortunately, we found The Whisk House, a fellow woman-owned small business right here in downtown Louisville. Founded by Lindsay Lamb, who has dreamed of owning her own bakery since she was a little girl, she simply wants to make people smile when they enjoy her custom treats, handcrafted with passion, purpose, and a little bit of love.

Ingredients: Sugar, butter (pasteurized cream, natural flavorings), pecans, gourmet compound chocolate (sugar, vegetable oils (palm kernel oil, palm cocoa), lactose (milk), sunflower lecithin (added as an emulsifier), pure vanilla extract, corn starch, Kentucky bourbon.

*Contains: Dairy and Nuts. Gluten-free.

Chocolate is fair trade and ethically sourced.

Store in the refrigerator. Can be frozen for up to two months in an airtight container. Best if enjoyed within one month of purchase.
