Our Bourbon Barrel Smoked Sea Salt is gently smoked using the staves from Pappy Van Winkle barrels — the very wood that held some of the world's most celebrated bourbon as it aged and mellowed over the years. Those staves carry decades of character: the vanilla, oak, and caramel that define Pappy Van Winkle's legendary flavor profile. When Bulls Bay's pure Carolina sea salt is smoked over that wood, it absorbs a flavor you simply cannot replicate with any other ingredient.
The result is a salt with a deep, complex smokiness softened by a sweet bourbon finish. It's subtle. It's layered. And it's entirely one-of-a-kind.
