Pappy & Company Attends High Point Furniture Market to debut our
Woodshop Collection at the 313 Space
We hosted a shared Everyday Heirloomsby Thompson Traders X Pappy & Company Pappy Hour, with Thompson Traders’ and Pappy Van Winkle-inspired style, flavor, and flair. Well, we had such an incredible time, we decided to come back, with our very own booth (Booth M27) in the newly renovated 313 Space at High Point Market.

High Point Market is an incredible event to experience. This trade-only event, the largest home furnishing market in the world, is held in High Point, North Carolina, twice a year. Each High Point Market session sees nearly 75,000 attendees and features over 2,000 exhibitors. Nestled in relatively small and unassuming High Point (home to High Point University) and forming the Triad of North Carolina region, with nearby cities of Greensboro and Winston-Salem, High Point, North Carolina, is regarded as the “Furniture Capital of the World.”
While we founded Pappy & Company primarily share our great-grandfather’s legacy of hospitality, the signature flavor of our family’s iconic bourbon heritage, and the dedicated quality and craftsmanship Pappy promised, there has always been an element of design in everything we have done.

Design, of course, is an integral part of hospitality and entertaining. It sets the tone and provides the warm, inviting sense of personality you want your guests to experience. We have always been inspired by the blend of traditional, classic, and modern design elements, and the way our great-grandfather thoughtfully designed his office to feel and look more like a living room. Our great-grandmother, Nana Van Winkle, was renowned for her legendary and elegant dinner parties, her whimsical holiday designs, and a shared passion to create a warm and welcoming home and atmosphere for entertaining.

While we all appreciate and enjoy design, our sister, Chenault Van Winkle James, has taken her keen eye, her incredible design skills, and our heritage of blending modern and traditional design to create her own interior design company. The genesis of her company, Chenault James Interiors, mirrors that of Pappy & Company itself, a desire to reflect a sense of tradition, heritage, and legacy with a versatile and modern livability, and most of all, to take something deemed old and give it new life.
With our design and hospitality-focused inspiration, dedication to craftsmanship, and an overall spirit of crafting collections that invite entertaining, we are thrilled to host our own booth at High Point Market at 313 Space, Booth M27. Conveniently located near our friends Thompson Traders, who you can find in Booth M20, in the 313 Space.
We are thrilled to host our booth, M27, in the 313 Space, joining a curated group of over 60 designs and brands that share a similar passion, ethos, and dedication. They’ve lovingly restored a retired 20th-century mill, maintaining the original aspects, while modernizing it to create an open, airy and beautifully designed space with an outdoor and garden element.
The 313 Space couldn’t be a more perfect community to introduce our Woodshop pieces, crafted to give new life to retired bourbon barrels, while highlighting their remaining beauty and inherent elements, responsible for aging the deep, signature character of the iconic Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon they once held.

What can you expect to experience when you visit us at booth M27 in the 313 Space? Bourbon Barrels re-imagined through a curated collection of fine home furnishings and accessories.
We are thrilled to be bringing pieces from our Woodshop collection, hand-crafted from retired Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon barrels by artisan Jason Cohen, to High Point Furniture Market, booth M27 in the 313 Space. Re-purposing these barrels, which were otherwise destined to be discarded, into beautiful, elegant, and thoughtfully designed pieces has been our shared vision for over a decade, and it has finally come to life in our Pappy & Company Woodshop.
Individually crafted, each piece is entirely unique and showcases the well-earned grooves, char marks, and markings, reminders of the years of cradling and lovingly aging the world's finest bourbon.
Our Staveburst Mirror is a unique and practical piece of usable art, crafted from individual Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon Barrel staves, with an art-deco vibe and gorgeous mid-century modern design. Our furniture, such as our Rickhouse Bench and tables, crafted from retired Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon Barrel Staves, reflect the heritage, design and mid-century modern aesthetic we inherited from Pappy Van Winkle himself. A collection of accessories, hand-crafted with precision, detail, and a desire to give our Bourbon barrels a second life while bringing a piece of iconic Pappy Van Winkle hospitality into your own home.
Join us for our daily Pappy Hours, hosted at the 313 Space, Booth M27, from October 24th- 28th, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm to celebrate the flavorand inspiration of Pappy & Company.
