Fall Recipes: Pumpkin Cold Foam

There is no limit to where you can take the true flavor of the season, pumpkin, just as there is no limit to how we can use our Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon Barrel-Aged Pure Maple Syrup and our Bourbon Barrel-Aged Coffee

We've all been tempted by the frothy fall beverage beckoning to us as soon as the temperature begins to dip. This Pumpkin Cold Foam is a delightfully delicious way to celebrate autumn mornings and celebrate the fun flavors of fall!

Not only does this recipe celebrate the darlings of fall flavor through the combination of pumpkin and pure maple syrup, but it just so happens to be National Coffee Day! So we can't think of a better time to showcase our special signature brew, crafted in partnership with our friends and local craft masters, Good Folks Coffee. Their like minded approach to sourcing the finest ingredients to bring you the highest quality products results in the deep, rich flavor of our Pappy & Company Barrel-Aged Coffee. Enjoyed hot, or cold, this coffee deserves a spot on any connoisseurs shelf.

Pumpkin meets our signature Barrel-Aged Coffee for a bold, roasted and balanced flavor combination and gets the perfect touch of sweetness, and notes of vanilla and bourbon from our Barrel-Aged Pure Maple Syrup. We recommend slowing down to sit and enjoy our Pumpkin Cold Brew from our Handmade Ceramic Coffee Mug.

Makes 4 servings.

What better way to celebrate National Coffee Day & our favorite fall flavors than with a deliciously fun Pumpkin Cold Foam!

Ingredients For Pumpkin Cream

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 teaspoons Barrel-Aged Maple Syrup

Recipe Note: Blender is required.

Ingredients For Cold Brew

  • 1 cup cold brew concentrate (see recipe here for making cold brew using our Barrel-Aged Coffee)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • ice

Recipe Note: Let cold brew steep overnight or 8 - 16 hours.

How To Prepare

Make the cold brew concentrate using this recipe: Cold Brew Recipe

Recipe Note: Let cold brew steep overnight or for 8-16 hours.

Whisk together the whipping cream, sweetened condensed milk and Barrel-Aged Maple Syrup. Whisk in the pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice until smooth. Cover and refrigerate until needed.

Fill your mug halfway with ice, add cold brew concentrate and water and stir to combine.

In a blender pulse 1/4 - 1/2 cup of pumpkin cream (to preference of amount of foam) for 10 - 12 seconds until thick and fluffy. Now you have pumpkin cold foam!

Top your coffee with a dollop of pumpkin cold foam, sprinkle with pumpkin pie spice or a drizzle of Barrel-Aged Maple Syrup if desired!
